Easy Online Baccarat Rules
Online baccarat rules are a breeze to learn and remember. There are only two variations in online baccarat rules: Punto Banco Baccarat and North American Baccarat. The main goal according to online baccarat rules is for both variations is to get a value close or equal to nine.
Online baccarat rules for card values are easy to understand. A standard deck has a total of 52 cards. The deck consists of four suits: the heart, the spade, the clubs, and the diamond. Each suit has an ace; cards with values two until ten; and the royals or face cards - jack, queen, and king. Aces have dual values, one and eleven, but since the main goal of online baccarat rules is to get a total value closest to nine then the ace is counted as a one. The other faces, two to nine, are worth their written values. The face cards and tens are zero.
The dealer deals him or herself and the player two cards each. If the two cards total four or less, another card is dealt. An example is when the player receives an Ace and a two; a count of 11 or 1 will be considered for that specific ace. Since the goal is to reach a value close or equal to nine the Ace will be counted as a one. One and two total only three so the player will be given another card.
Another condition in online baccarat rules is the total of the player's cards must be higher than the dealer's cards without going over nine. If the third card dealt results in a value over nine the first digit is taken off the total. Going back to the example the two cards the player has totals 3 and the third card dealt is nine, the three cards now total twelve. The fist digit is dropped and the remaining value of the player's cards is two. In order to win, the player's cards total value of two must be greater than the dealer's cards. If the dealer's cards total more than two, the house wins.
There are three ways to bet according to online baccarat rules: the player's cards, the banker's cards, or betting for a draw or a tie. The banker typically charges a 5% commission if the player bets on him or her. In the event of a tie, the payout ratio is 8:1. So you really won't have major losses.
